26/11in history...

On the ongoing terrorism happening in Mumbai have brought us sleepless nights and awful emotions over the images and scenes occurred, sends out a clear message that this country is in the top priority in the list of victims. Having said that, the motto stayed behind these was annoying as stated “The terrorists are the back of the Americans and the British people in the Taj mahal hotel” which was quoted by a tourist who was held the Taj as a hostage. This feel has begun to penetrate into the minds of the foreigners and making them to believe that India is losing its prosperity over the peace and calm in the religious rich heritage.

Now it is the time for the government and the public to react to the incident and to show the world who we are and how the nation stands tall during the time of terror. No wonder the cricket tournaments has been postponed which has also sent a strong message to the world regarding the unsecured security crisis arising in the peaceful India. This is getting political and practical. And may be such bad climates will last long until the necessary measures are taken.

On the other hand, the Indian media is providing its best to gather the news and updating the world and keeping the situation positive despite of the fact that the firing is being held inside the hotels. But there is also another thing which bothers at this moment is that the pace at which the remedial measure is been carried out. The Rapid Action Force, National Security Guards, Mumbai Metro Police, Assault Teams, Army personnel  are set to ablaze the act who were kept in stand-by for hours which makes the action time to prolong. It is indeed a situation where no one can be proactive in making the decisions but it is just the anxiety from the public who expects to have a safe ground at the quickest possible time.

Assisting to them, there are a lot of incoming supports from the public. There were some of the interviews from the eyewitnesses from the terror scene and I am quoting them as saying

“ This is my Mumbai, I will not sit and cry and see my people suffering from pain and agony”

Another mumbaikar stated that

“I have seen people running for their life by hiding themselves down the road, crawling, defending, now I want to see the dead faces of the terrorists who made our people to so do”

Nothing stops the Indians, as another citizen states that

“No one can destroy the Brand India by causing such devastations to the society of India. We send a strong message to the world that this country will not be a terror affected country”

Such patriotic messages are arising on the issue which is still on. But then, as said, this nation will never give up and will fight like the battles and will win it as they have did in the 19th century either by peace or either by war. But the need is that, this nation should come up with a strong message and services against terrorism which should prove the world that we are no more vulnerable to the high magnitude terrorists’ acts. It is the high time to respond right now beyond the political policies and platforms by standing together for the nation’s security and prosperity.

Being an optimist, it is very easy to rise up to the situation but the other hand, let us pray for the victims who have lost their lives and our teary supports to their families and also saluting the police officers who lost bravely for the nation.

-          When going gets tough, only the tough gets going. And that is an Indian.
